Are you interested in gaining or sharpening your peer leadership skills?

Are you moving into a new leadership role in your school or district? Or do you aspire to move into a leadership role soon?

If so, our newest program, TC Institutes: Facilitative Leadership for Teachers is for you!

Facilitative Leadership for Teachers will provide current and aspiring teacher leaders with the principles, practices, and initial experience to be strong, equitable facilitators of adult conversations. With the skills provided within this institute, teacher leaders will be able to be stronger department leaders, initiate and facilitate strong Professional Learning Communities, lead conversations focused on diversity, belonging, equity, and inclusion (DBIE), and/or more effectively contribute to collaborative leadership groups such as Instructional Leadership Teams, Design Teams, and district Committees.

Benefits:

Participants will receive PDPs, a certificate of training, and a digital facilitation toolkit, as well as the potential to earn a microcredential in Facilitative Leadership. Teachers may opt to receive one graduate credit from Fitchburg State University for completing the program. Finally, our in-person retreat includes a complimentary coffee break with snacks as well as a full lunch for participants.

Inaugural pricing:

We offer two tiers of fees for this institute so as to make it as affordable as possible for participants. Since this is our first time offering this Institute, we are offering it at a discounted rate for this year only.

  • $750 per participant - sponsored by school or district or organization

  • $495 per participant - discounted for those registering independently

Graduate course enrollment (1 credit) is an option and costs an additional $225.

Logistics:

  • One online kickoff meeting (participants select either 6/25 from 9:30am to 12pm or 7/23 from 12:30-3pm)

  • A full-day in person retreat on August 6th (~9am-3:30pm) at Fitchburg State University
