We’re seeking a new team member to join us in our mission to build a community that fosters collaboration, empowers innovation, and creates meaningful learning opportunities for educators across Massachusetts.

The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Programs to ensure thoughtful planning, high quality implementation, and continuous improvement of the Teacher Collaborative’s core programs and projects.

We’re seeking someone with the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.  

  • Detail oriented: able to manage multiple project simultaneously in a way that is planful and ensures excellent implementation.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Solutions oriented: willing to put in extra time to problem solve independently and creatively when needed.

  • Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to think on your feet and be flexible.

  • Alignment with organizational mission; belief that educators are awesome and deserve to be supported as leaders and experts in the highest quality ways possible.

  • Familiarity with trends in the teaching profession (retention, evaluation, leadership, career paths) or a willingness to learn quickly and independently.

  • Interest in joining a small early-stage startup organization with a fast-paced, collegial environment.

  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience teaching or working in a school in some capacity.
