EdVestors’ School Solutions Seed Fund has an open call out for good ideas from schools (located in Boston, serving a significant number of high needs students) to solve a challenge that’s standing between where their school is today and where they want to be. The deadline to apply is Thursday, November 2nd, and the grants are for $10,000 to be spent January to June 2018 to pilot or test a solution in Boston school(s). The focus is typically on the adult work in schools – supporting teachers and/or staff to change the way they work (whether by funding time for teachers to meet or to receive training or coaching, etc.) – as a means of creating sustainable change in schools. Anyone who is considering applying can schedule a 30-minute phone call with Alison Stevens at EdVestors to talk through their ideas or see if a particular idea is a good fit by clicking here, or following this link https://calendly.com/alisonstevens/30-minute-phone-consultation.
